A few days before her death, Lindsay received an unusual phone call from a woman claiming she was interested in purchasing a million-dollar home. The caller reportedly spoke with a “strong foreign accent” that Lindsay described to others as resembling someone from Mexico. The woman insisted on viewing an upscale property almost immediately. The Property Showing
The viewing was scheduled for 5:30 p.m. on February 2, 2008, at a vacant home on Conway Road in Saanich. His friend entered through the back of the house, unlocked the front door, and together they searched the property, where Jason found Lindsay in an upstairs bedroom. Inside, Lindsay was found lying in a pool of blood.
